Temperature Calibration Services
NIST-traceable calibration for thermometers, thermocouples, thermistors, RTDs, temperature chambers, ovens, and freezers. Precision temperature measurement for controlled environments.
Why Temperature Calibration Matters
Temperature calibration is crucial in industries that work with controlled temperature environments. Temperature is typically calibrated by placing a thermometer in a stable reference environment, and then comparing the reading to a standard or reference thermometer. Accurate temperature measurements ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, process control, and safety across pharmaceutical, food processing, medical, and manufacturing applications. Regular NIST-traceable calibration maintains the accuracy of your temperature measurement systems.

Our Calibration Process
Multi-point testing with NIST-traceable temperature standards for complete accuracy assurance
Receiving & Inspection
Each temperature device is logged into our system with unique identification. Visual inspection documents condition, sensor type, and any visible damage.
As-Found Testing
We test your device at multiple temperature points using our NIST-traceable temperature standards in stable reference environments. This documents accuracy before calibration.
Adjustment & Calibration
Devices are adjusted to meet manufacturer specifications or customer requirements. Calibration is performed in temperature baths, dry blocks, or environmental chambers as appropriate.
As-Left Testing
After calibration, we re-test at the same temperature points to verify accuracy. This ensures the device meets required specifications across its full range.
Certification & Documentation
Complete calibration certificates include as-found and as-left data, uncertainty calculations, traceability information, environmental conditions, and pass/fail status.
Labeling & Return
Devices are marked with calibration date and due date labels. Complete documentation is provided digitally and in print, and instruments are securely packaged for return.
Compliance & Standards
Temperature Standards
We adhere to internationally recognized standards for temperature calibration:
- ITS-90: International Temperature Scale
- ASTM E2877: Liquid-in-glass thermometers
- ASTM E2846: Temperature uniformity surveys
